RHIANNONS BIRTHDAY BURLESQUE PARTY THE THISTLE HOTEL

What a cracking night! Everyone came in vintage style clothes. We played American 1940's acoustic swing music to start with, the audience were really good fun, especially the American couple Scott and Anna. Scott was "on the spot Johnny for the night!" being mercilessly teased by Helen Highwater and Felicity Flypast. Then straight in to the buffet with glorious technicolor cup cakes, all with a very diamond jubilee feel about them. I stuffed my face with tiny Easter eggs until i realised i looked like one! On came the burlesque dancing girls! Loved by Men and Women alike, for their tongue in cheek expertise. Kitty Kane,Kitty Curvaceous and Lady Lace charmed us with their exotic dancing to cheers and general revelry! We finished off the evening with some good old English sing-a-long war-time hits and everyone joined in. Finally we sang Happy Birthday to Rhiannon whilst Tom and Doug brought on a delightful exploding firework chocolate cake. Believe me, life doesn't get much better than this!
