It's nearly that time again folks! Smeatharpe Aerodrome (R.A.F. Upottery) will be once again hosting a show to commemorate the American 101st Airborne Division's 506 P.I.R's departure to Normandy in the early hours of the morning on D-Day 6th June 1944.
South West Airfield Heritage Trust's hard working team have been putting this event on for a few years now and every year it attracts more and more people who have a passion for all vehicles and aircraft painted in olive drab. There is plenty to do for all of the family and it makes for a really interesting and educational day out.
We'll be performing at various areas around the site, please come up and say hi to us!
